Advanced BA Internship in Retail Domain
This internship is designed following an NHS EPR transformation case study. During this internship, you will work on several workstreams to analyze the existing Patient Administration System (PAS) and identify gaps along with operational impacts and clinical hazards.
Your findings will lead to several operational impact assessments, options appraisal and solution recommendations. You will be given adequate training on the use of both systems as well as the existing standard operating procedure which may be affected by the changes you will bring as a result of Business Change
Designed around an acquisition and migration case study, this program is structured to take you from little or no knowledge to proficiency in Business Analysis activities. Knowledge acquired will be through live Business Transformation project which will execute a CDR (Central Data Repository) use case.
The system components of this program include legacy systems such ERP, Multi-Vendor E-Stores, CRM, Service desk solutions, and a postal management system. You will be involved in defining, designing, integrating and implementing a variety of future state standard operating systems and procedure.
Overview of Activities
This program is carefully designed to cut across most activities required of a Business Analyst including identifying and mitigating operational impacts, appraising options by virtue of cost, benefits, risk and impact analysis, joining and contributing to the steering and operational readiness groups respectively, being the gateway to configuration and improvement initiatives, managing the initial assessment of change requests, identifying improvement opportunities, developing functional use cases and user stories, overseeing continuous deployments and the development of APIs, leading on UAT cycles, developing Business Continuity Plans and liaising with project manager in developing cutover/transition strategy and plans.

The objective of this project is to equip you with a realistic sense of the diverse activities encountered during the lifecycle of a typical project, and how the coexistence of various processes, departments, stakeholders, dependencies and system limitations trigger situations which are then resolved by the project team.
This project is quite intensive and requires your personal dedication of several hours each week. Each intern will be assigned a personal set of tasks which will be time bound. There are no co-working beyond the guidance of a Senior Business Analyst and each person will be assessed and supported based on individual needs.
At the end of this project, you will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge in the practical application of Business Analysis in practice.
